Back Country Road Trip!

Recently a good friend and I took a back country trip to do some photography work. It was a nice trip with lots of wildlife and scenery to shoot! Hope you enjoy the photos....

American Widgeon aka Anas Americana

Although I am a well established duck hunter and love to hunt this very wary duck with a shotgun and my black lab, I am just as apt to pick up my camera and fire away with it to capture a different view of the Baldpate. This drake Widgeon has exceptional markings and colors as he is in full plumage. These pix were shot at the Tijuana NWR.
